What's the difference between kiln dried logs and seasoned logs?

Kiln dried logs have been dried in a kiln to below 20% moisture content, making them ready to burn immediately with higher heat output and less smoke. Our kiln dried hardwood logs are perfect for wood burners and open fires, providing efficient, clean burning fuel.

Is your coal suitable for smoke control areas?

Yes, we supply smokeless coal that is approved for use in smoke control areas throughout the UK. Smokeless coal burns cleaner with less smoke and particulates while still providing excellent heat output.

What sizes do your firewood products come in?

We offer kiln dried hardwood logs in bulk bags (approximately 1 cubic metre) and convenient nets for smaller quantities. We also stock kindling sticks and firelighters. All products can be collected from our Thatcham yard or delivered locally.
